Welcome to Nutanix Community Edition, this is where you will find the download bits for Community Edition (CE) 2.0

If you are contemplating use of Nutanix for business and production use, we highly recommend engaging in an actual POC with the partner or Nutanix account teams. Community Edition is a technology demonstrator, and is not a replacement for production systems.

This version, called CE 2.0 has several major improvements over the previous CE.

• AOS 6.5.2 is bundled.
• The AOS and AHV builds are now common to the commercial versions
• Upgrading with LCM is available without having to wait for a CE-specific build to be released
• Compatible with the commercial version of Prism Central, allowing users to try out a variety of the latest Nutanix solutions

Prism Central Deployment
CE 2.0 is compatible with the commercial version of Prism Central.

Caution: It is not recommended to register CE clusters with Prism Central, which is being used for commercial licensed clusters.

Caution: No upgrade path to CE 2.0 will be provided from the older CE or Prism Central for CE.
