Barman: Delete Backup

I recomended has two barman backups for the last two weeks. The list backup looks like this:

$ barman list-backup db1
db1 20170205T010002 - Sun Feb  5 02:19:51 2017 - Size: 99.7 GiB - WAL Size: 13.0 GiB
db1 20170129T010005 - Sun Jan 29 02:02:42 2017 - Size: 98.5 GiB - WAL Size: 18.6 GiB

The backups are full and the rest are WAL files.

In case of free disk space is low or the backup is broken and will be unused, backup can be deleted with following comand:

$ barman delete db1 20170129T010005

The last two parameters are :

[[barman_server_name]] [[barman_backup_identifier]].

PS:

• The delete command will delete all backup consists of base and WAL files. Please be patient while waiting especially if the database is huge
