Installing Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13.5

1.. Login to server as OEM Installtion user.

1.1 Navigate to location of OEM software and then execute ./em13500_linux64.bin

Note: – There is no requirement on unzipping. It will extract binaries and start installation GUI prompt.

2.. Installation Types: – Select Advanced and click on Next Tab

Note: –

Small: – Meant for demonstration or evaluation purposes.
Advanced: – Meant for small, medium, and large deployments, and it allows to customize installation with custom locations, directory names, and passwords.

2.. Software Updates: – Select Skip and Click on Next Tab

3.. Prerequisite Checks: – Click on Rerun

Note :- Once you rerun it will resolve many prerequisite checks.

3.1 Once Rerun is completed, select Ignore Tab and then click on Next Tab.

4.. Installation Details: – Enter or browse to home location for Middleware and Agent and enter hostname. And click on Next Tab

5.. Select Plug-ins :– Select plugin as per requirement.

6.. WebLogic Server Configuration details :- Set password for Weblogic and Nodemanager and base location for OMS and Click on Next Tab

7.. Database Connection Details:-

Note: –

Deployment Size: – Small, Medium and Large

8.. Database Prerequisite checks :- Once prerequisite checks completes, click on Auto Fix to complete and check if there are any Failed Error which can be corrected.

Note :- Once Auto Fix is completed, resolved issue related with adaptive features and rest warning can be ignored.

8.1 For given below prompt click on OK.

9.. Enterprise Manager Configuration Details:- Password for SYSMAN and Agent Registration

10.. Enterprise Manager Shared Location Details:- Browse directory for Oracle Software Library

And Click on Next

Note:-

Oracle Software Library:- is a feature within Enterprise Manager Cloud Control that acts as a repository to store software entities such as software patches, virtual appliance images, reference gold images, application software, and their associated directive scripts and required for the Software Library for operations such as provisioning and patching. Software Library supports two types of storage locations i.e OMS Shared File System location and OMS Agent File System location.

11.. Port Configuration Details :- Review port and click on Next Tab.
